Last night we held our first ever 3D Digital Garment Awards (virtually of course). UCA students in subjects from fashion to games and all new to digital design, presented a range of beautiful and experimental digital garments.
Our esteemed panel of judges:
Hannah Marriot, Fashion Editor at The Guardian
Hope Macaulay , UCA graduate and Fashion & Textiles Designer
Steph Hayot, Business Development Manager at Epic Games
Lui Larocheski, CMO at PlatformE International
Head of School of Fashion and textiles, Prof. Jules Dagonet, who led the ceremony said: “It is wonderful to see how readily our students picked up 3D digital skills in a matter of weeks, from creating digital samples, prototyping and developing 3D visualisations. We’re thrilled that we’re able to equip students with these invaluable 3D digital skills that are in demand as digital fashion becomes mainstream.”
And the winners are 🥁
Best Technical Garment: Joint winners - Alysa Briones, Bene Lawal and Grace Moore
Best Costume: Ugne Smetonaite
Best Couture: Joint winners - Annamarie Wheeler and Grace Moore
