Saad Latif, a final year International student from Pakistan, studying BA (Hons) Fashion Textiles created these beautiful garments for his final major project, titled "Khawab-e-Daroga" meaning "A fictional Dream'. Saad said "Those who know me are all much aware of my creepy obsession with storytelling concept-based artworks for ages. So for my final major project, I’ll take you on a journey of two worlds and will create a unique new world of power and play. My concept named Khawab –e Daroga which means a fictional dream. It revolves around the past and present as there is a complicated relationship and close relation between them. The collection calls people to learn about what if Mughals were revived. Magnificent visual concepts, contemporary philosophies, and impracticably realistic artworks done according to the narration of the story which revolves around me as a fictional dream. Each outfit takes on its own story via expression of the movements which will be seen in print/artwork. My collection features Autumn/winter, the colour palette moves from the vibrant poppy pink and fresh blues to a symphony of playful yellows, blood reds, plum, and greens along with monochromatic hues of white and black displaying an ideal blend of sophistication and sheer elegance. In my collection, I used various luxuries fabrics such as faux fur, wools, knitted fabrics along with Japanese silks and velvet for printing."
