Facebook post by University for the Creative Arts - UCA

A huge congratulations to UCA BA (Hons) Product Design student Anna Lis for receiving a special mention at 'The Design the Change Competition', run by law firm Bolt Burdon Kemp. The brief asked students to think creatively, innovatively and empathetically to invent a product aimed at improving the lives of people with a spinal cord injury. As a result of Anna's amazing entry, she has won a prestigious work placement at the Cerebra Innovation Centre in Swansea. Anna said: “This was my favourite and most meaningful project in my university career. Thank you for the placement opportunity at the Cerebra Innovation Centre. This is something I would love to experience. I've been working on Accessible Design projects ever since I took up Product Design at A-level, and these projects have given me the most purpose in my work. Finally, this project wouldn't have been possible without my university’s support.” Read more here: https://bit.ly/2SYkIFB Instagram: @annalisdesign #WeareUCA #MakersofUCA #productdesign #design #designer #designinspiration #creative #spinalinjury #spinalcordinjury
