UCA Acting and Performance graduate Nicola Anastasiou tells us about her lockdown experience and how she was able to do something positive with her time - write a play.🎭 Nicola found herself struggling with body image during the lockdown, especially because of the expectation to have a 'lockdown glow up'! Once she reached out to her friends about this, she found she wasn't the only one and so she did a shoutout on social media, from which she got an overwhelming number of women speaking out to her about their experiences. She has used this to write a play. Nicola says she wants to use playwriting to give people a platform to express their feelings! Whilst we have all struggled throughout lockdown, it is good to focus on some positives, like having extra time! Have you experienced anything surprisingly positive throughout lockdown?🤔 For more information on Covid-19 visit https://bit.ly/36dbsAi#WeareUCA #MakersofUCA #lockdowndiaries #playwriting #covid_19 #covid #lockdown #covid19 #corona #coronavirus #lockdownuk #creative #mentalhealth #glowup #lockdownglowup #lockdowntransformation #bodyimage #selflove #bodypositive #loveyourself #bodypositivity
